GUILLAUME BRILLATZ RETURNS TO SANDS
The Management of Sands Suites Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Guillaume Brillatz as General Manager. Mr. Brillatz is known to the travel trade, having worked in Mauritius and Rodrigues for more than fifteen years. He originally joined the company in June 2006 and has fervently worked towards making our resort the best of its category on the island. With his profound knowledge, experience and expertise, we are confident that he will excel in his new responsibilities.
AN EXCITING NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF FOR SANDS
Sands is delighted to announce the appointment of Nicolas Baubé as its new Executive Chef. Chef Baubé, a native of
Aix en Provence, brings along years of international experience, having worked with some of the highly regarded Chefs like Roger Vergé and Jean-Marie Gautier in France. He exceeded in grand palaces, opened fusion restaurants in Switzerland and worked in some of the prestigious hotels in Mauritius and neighbouring islands. Chef Baubé will oversee the food and beverage outlets of Sands. Despite his strong French background, Chef Baubé’s aim is to fuse French techniques with the best local ingredients to create inspirational dining experiences for our guests.
NEWLY APPOINTED RESERVATION MANAGER
Maradiva & Sands welcomed a new member on board. Melissa Zacharie will oversee the reservation, e-commerce revenue management department of our two resorts. Before joining us, Melissa was working as E-commerce specialist at Hospitality Plus, Veranda Leisure & Hospitality and Sands Suites Resort & Spa.
